- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- 2 lbs skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size chunks

Barley and Bow Tie Pilaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup pearl barley
- 4 1/4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 1/2 cups green onions, sliced & including the tops (about 2 bunches)
- 3 cups farfalle pasta, not cooked (bow ties)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (to taste)

Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a saucepan; reduce the heat, to low and cover the saucepan to keep hot
- 5 cups hot good-quality chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter (no substitutes)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
- 1 1/2 cups arborio rice
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese (can use less)
- 2-3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- salt and black pepper
Creamy Burrito Casserole

Brown ground meat/turkey and onion; drain
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 2-3 cups shredded taco cheese or cheddar cheese
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 ounces sour cream
- jarred hot sauce, if desired to spice it up

- 6 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 lbs white mushrooms, sliced thin
- 2 shallots, diced
- 1 1/2 cups arborio rice
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (or white wine substitute White Wine Substitute (non-alcoholic Substitute)
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons chives
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup warm water
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
BBQ Rub
