Mix all of the ingredients until smooth; except pecans
- Glaze:
- 1 pkg. Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 pkg. Instant french vanilla pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup water or orange juice
White Bread

Blend milk, sugar, water, shortening and yeast all together; set aside
- 2 heaping quarts flour
- 2 1/2 cups Hot water
- 1 1/2 cups Scalded milk
- 1 Tblsp. salt
- 2 Tblsp. shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tblsp. yeast
Coconut Cake

Blend cake mix, pudding, water, eggs, and oil
- Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. (4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/3 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 cup nuts
- 4 Tblsp. butter
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 2 tsp. milk
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Ham Fried Rice

- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 1/2 cups ham cut in cubes
- 1 small onion
- 1 small green pepper finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
- 5 eggs-scrambled with 1/2 tsp. salt & 1/4 tsp. monoglutamate
- 3 stalks celery hearts fnely chopped
- 1 Tblsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tblsp. salad oil
Pancakes & Syrup

Mix all ingredients together until smooth and creamy
- Syrup:
- 2 cups flour
- 6 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp. mapeline
Sweet & Sour Pork or Beef

Mix all vegetables together and blanche in boiling water for 5 minutes
- Sweet & Sour Sauce:
- 2 lb. pork lean or pork roast cut in 1 inch long strips
- 1 med. onion cut lengthwise
- 1 green pepper cut in squares
- 2 med. carrots peeled & cut diagonals
- 1 20oz. can chunky pineapple (keep juice for sauce)
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms cut into half
- 3 Tblsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tblsp. soy sauce
- 4 Tblsp. vinegar
- 9 Tblsp. water & pineapple juice (from above)
- 6 Tblsp. sugar
- 4 Tblsp. ketchup
Chicken Chow Mein

Boil chicken in 1 quart of water + salt, chicken boullion until chicken is done
- 1 4lb. Chicken
- 1 Tblsp. salt
- 3 cubes chicken boullion
- 1/2 lb. mushroom wash & cut in half
- 1 8oz. can water chesnuts
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut thin
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 lb. fresh bean sprouts
- 1 quart water
- 1 head celery, cut in diagonals
- 1 onion peeled cut in strips
- 1 8oz. sliced bamboo shoots
- 1 small red pepper, cut in pieces
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 can 3-4oz. chow mein noodles (Crisp)
Carrot Bars

Preheat oven to 350'. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, oil and baby food until well blended
- Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 small jars carrot baby food (or 1 1/2 cups finely pureed, cooked carrots)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp.baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 4-oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
Tempura for Sea Food

Mix all ingredients together, then dip your pieces of seafood
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 cup water less 2 Tblsp.
- 1 Tblsp. oil
- 1/2 Tblsp. dry sherry
- 1/2 Tblsp. baking powder (optional)
Cherry Fluff

- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 can crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1 can fat-free sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tub fat-free cool whip
