Durgin Park Corn Bread

- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Sunday Breakfast Quiche

Line greased 9X13 with 6 slices of bread
- 6 slices bread
- 12 eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar grated
- 2 cups milk
Tomato Rice Soup

Cook rice till done. Combine all ingredients with cooked rice
- 2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 gallon water
- 2/3 cup rice
Royal Icing

Whip all ingredients for 10 to 12 minutes
- 3 level tablespoons meringue powder
- 1 lb sugar
- 5-6 tablespoons hot water

Cucumber Soup

Melt butter and saute onion and cukes for about 10 minutes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoon chopped onion
- 4 cukes peeled seeded and sliced
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk scalded
- 1 cup light cream or half and half
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

- 1 13 oz can pineapple chunks with juice
- 1 green pepper (i add other colored peppers for color)
- 3 tbsp brown sugar

- 3 pieces preserved ginger slivered
