Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 Cup milk
- 2 Tbs butter
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
COMBINE sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
Boil, covered for 3 minutes and then uncovered until soft ball stage is reached or temperature of 236° stirring occasionally.
REMOVE from heat.
ADD remaining ingredients to above mixture.
COOL frosting until lukewarm or has reached 110°.
BEAT until thick and creamy.
SPREAD on cake.
