- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 15 oz. Eagle brand milk
- 1 t vanilla

Step 1
Melt margarine in heavy saucepan. Add brown sugar and salt stirring until combined. Blend in corn syrup. Gradually add milk, stir constantly.
Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reaches hard ball stage. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into buttered 9x9x2 inch baking dish. Cool.
