This is a nice summer treat. It is cold and creamy and the lime is very satisfying. The salted pretzels really add to the taste. I sometimes also top with chocolate curls or coconut. No baking necessary.

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 1/4 cups of crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 6 tbsp. butter (melted)
  • Filling
  • 1 can (300 ml) condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 envelope of Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid powder (unsweetened)
  • 3 cups thawed Cool Whip Topping

Preparation

Step 1

Mix crushed pretzels, sugar and butter. Press firmly onto bottom and side of a 9" pie plate. Refrigerate until ready to fill.

Combine condensed milk, lime juice and Kool-Aid in a bowl until well blended. Gently stir in Cool-Whip topping and pour into crust.

Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature before serving for 15 minutes or until pie can be cut easily. Store leftover pie in freezer.
