  • 2 lbs (900g) brisket of beef
  • Ingrdient A
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking wine
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 slices ginger root
  • 1 star anise
  • Ingredient B
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cup peeled white radish, cut into pieces, cooked in water
  • Ingredient C
  • 1 tbsp water, 2tsp cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Cut beef into pieces. Cook beef and A, turning occasionally, until all sides are seased. Add 2 cup water, bring to boil. Cover, turn heat to low and cook until tender. Add B and cook 10 mins, or until liquid is reduced to 2/3 cup. Add misture C to thicken, stir and serve.
