Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 egg
1 package (3oz) cream cheese
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, butter, lemon peel, lemon juice, egg and cream cheese in medium bowl. Stir in flour and baking powder. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Shape dough into 3/4" balls 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

Bake 375* 8-9 minutes
