Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 24 ounce bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

Step 1
Mix butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs with a mixer. Add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly. Dough will be stiff. Fold in chocolate chips by hand with a wooden spoon.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly with floured fork.
Bake at 375 degrees for 9-10 minutes.
Let cool on wire rack. Cookies should be chewy.
