Maple Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Baby carrots
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

1.In large skillet, bring 1 1/2 cups of water to boiling; add carrots and salt, simmer, covered, 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Drain in colander.
2.Return carrots to skillet. Add butter, maple syrup and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until carrots are glazed.
