Rich Salted Caramel Sauce 0 Picture


  • 1/4 c unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1/2 t kosher salt
  • 1/2 c 35% cream



Step 1

Melt butter in a small saucepan over med heat. Add sugar, bring to a gentle boil, whisking occasionally. Cook for 3minutes. Stir in vanilla and salt until dissolved. Remove from heat and let stand one minute. Whisk in cream until sauce is smooth.
Makes 1 cup.
