CLAM CHOWDER - easy
Have this cooking while preparing other things. Requires no watching. Just keep enough water in the double boiler. Rich and thick.

Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 5 oz. baby clams with juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 14 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp butter/margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Put potato and onion in top of double boiler. Add clam juice. Chop clams and add along with salt and pepper. Cover. Cook over boiling water for about 1 1/4 hours or until vegetables are cooked.
Add milk and butter. Continue cooking until heated through.
