Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 2 c. regular milk with 2 tbsp. of lemon juice added and let sit 5 minutes (in lieu of buttermilk)
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- Butter for cooking

Mix milk, eggs and vanilla together first. Mix wet together, then put into dry mix. Don't over mix.
