Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
  • 6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1-1/2 lb.)
  • 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Preparation

Step 1

MIX hot water, butter and stuffing mix; set aside.

SPRAY nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook on medium heat 5 min. on each side.

MIX soup and sour cream; pour over chicken. Top with the prepared stuffing. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook 10 min. or until chicken is cooked through.

Substitute
Prepare as directed, substituting 1/3 cup fat-free milk for the sour cream.

Use Your Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare stuffing as directed. Place chicken in 13x9-inch baking dish or 2-qt. casserole dish. Mix soup and sour cream; pour over chicken. Top with the prepared stuffing. Bake 35 min. or until chicken is cooked through.
