Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 T. parsley
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 jar (10 oz) grape jelly
- 1 bottle chili sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, parsley, salt, worcestershire sauce, pepper and egg. Shape into 1 inch balls ( make bigger meatballs, if desired)
Melt shortening in large skillet; brown meatballs. Remove meatballs from skillet; pour off fat. ( I bake 2-inch size in a 425 oven for 15 minutes)
Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet; stirring constantly, until jelly is melted. Add meatballs and stir until thoroughly coated. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
