By

Dried beans are an excellent source of protein, fiber and vitamins. They are quite a bit cheaper bought dry in bags than they are in cans. Many people find the process of soaking and simmering them long and tedious, and it takes attention and and uses energy. But you can have perfectly cooked beans every time by cooking dried beans in a crock pot.
