Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar (192 g.)
  • 2 T. water
  • 1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips
  • 1 c. pecans (ground) (99 g.)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter with sugar and water in dutch oven.
Bring to a boil stirring constantly until hard crack stage.
Pour onto cookie sheet with sides that's been sprayed with Pam.
Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. As soon as they turn glossy, spread with knife and then sprinkle with ground pecans.
Cool completely.
Break into small pieces.
