Ingredients
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 2 cans black beans
- 1-2 lbs boneless chicken breast
- 2 medium onions
- 2 green peppers
- 2 chopped carrots
- 1 -8 oz fresh chopped mushrooms
- 1 -28 oz can tomatoes
- 1 -28 oz can tomato puree
- 1 or 2 chopped jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 4-5 t chili powder
- 4 t cumin
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 T brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Brown chicken breasts in hot oil, in large pot with 1 clove garlic, 1 t chili powder and 1 t cumin. Set aside. Cube when cool.
In the same pot, sauté green peppers, onions, remaining garlic, mushrooms & carrots in ½ stick of butter with 2 t of chili powder and 2 t cumin. Add remaining ingredients: chicken, tomatoes, beans and rest of spices.
Simmer 3 hours or in a crock pot to simmer all day.
