- 1 lb lean spareribs
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 tsp pepper

Combine and mix all ingredients. Place ribs in 1 litre baking dish and pour ingredients over. Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
