Ingredients
- Green beans, fresh or frozen
- 1 T salt
- 1/2 T sugar (or less)
- 2 capfuls of canola oil

Preparation
Step 1
Frozen:
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add frozen green beans. Gently work beans until all are separated. Season with salt, sugar and oil. Cover loosely and time beans for 30 minutes over medium heat (3-5). Check water level and seasonings, adjust if necessary. Cover loosely and cook an additional 15 minutes. Check water level. If water level is low, uncover and cook on high until water is cooked out. Take off stove and cover tightly with lid.
