  • 2 c water
  • 5 T brown sugar
  • 5 T vinegar
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 t worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 2 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork

Step 1

In a saucepan combine the first seven ingredients; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened; set aside. In a large bowl combine the first six meatloaf ingredients; add 2/3c of the reserved sauce and mix well. Crumble beef and pork over mixture and mix well. Pat into two greased loaf pans. Pour the remaining sauce over the loaves. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
