Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups flour (spoon in)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, cream and flour. Chill 1 hour. Roll dough 1/8" thick and cut into 1 1'2" rounds. Coat both sides with granulated sugar.

Place on ungreased baking sheet. Prick in 4 places with fork. Bake at 375 deg. for 7 - 9 minutes or until slightly puffy.

Put two cookies together with the filling.

May be tinted pink or green.
