Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (19 oz.) Johnsonville® Brats
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cans (15.5 oz.) kidney beans
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1/2 Jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 4-1/2 cups hot cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

Remove brats from casing and brown in skillet. Drain and reserve.
Heat oil in large saucepan. Add onion and garlic and cook 3-4 minutes.
Add beans, sausage, tomato paste and Jalapeno pepper.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Stir in parsley and serve over rice.
