Ingredients

  • 8 cups squash sliced thin
  • 2 cups onion sliced thin
  • 4 green, red, yellow or orange peppers sliced thin
  • 1 cup salt
  • water
  • Sauce
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 T celery seed
  • 2 T mustard seed

Preparation

Step 1

Soak vegetables in ice water with 1 cup of salt in water. Soak about 2 hours.

Sauce directions
Drain vegetables and rinse.
Add sauce to vegetables.
Cook until it boils three minutes.
Jar up.
