Ingredients
- 20 tablespoon Very fine granulated sugar
- 5 cup Flour
- 1 pound Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Sift together sugar and flour. Sift two more times.
Put one pound of firm butter into a bowl. Break into chunks with fingertips and work in the flour and sugar mixture until it resembles corn meal.
Put dough on floured board and knead, adding a little more flour until it begins to crack.
Roll out 3/8" think, cut into triangles and bake on cookie sheets at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
