Ingredients
- 1 Sm. Onion, chopped
- 1/2 C. Dry Red Wine
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 2 Fresh Sage Leaves, thinly sliced or 3/4 tsp. Dried Sage Leaves
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Fresh Gingerroot, minced
- 1 Beef Flank Steak

Step 1
In a lg. resealable bag, combine the first 9 ingredients. Score the surface of the beef, making diamond shapes 1/4 -in. deep; place in bag. Seal bag & turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hrs. or overnight. Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting. Drain & discard marinade. Grill beef, covered over med-heat for 6-8 min. on each side or till meat reaches desired doneness. Let stand for 5 min; thinly slice across the grain & serve.
