Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 T salt
- White sauce
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
- White Sauce
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/8 t cayenne pepper
- 3 T flour
- 2 cups milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cook cabbage 7 minutes in salted water.
Drain.
Place 1/2 cabbage in buttered casserole dish.
Pour 1/2 white sauce over cabbage.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup buttered cracker or bread crumbs.
Repeat.
Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
White Sauce
Melt butter. Add flour and slowly add milk. Cook and stir until thick. Add salt & pepper.
