  • 1/2 (17.25 oz.) package frozen puff pastry sheets thawed 2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachio nuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper or paprika
  • 1 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1

Unfold puff pastry sheet on lightly floured surface, and roll to a 12” square, trimming edges with knife. Brush 1 side of pastry with 1 tablespoon melted butter, sprinkle with nuts and ground red pepper. Fold dough in half, pressing to seal. Brush with remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter, sprinkle with cheese. Cut pastry diagonally lengthwise into 1/2” strips. Twist strips, forming a spiral shape, place twists 1” apart on baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire racks.
