CHEESY CRAB PUFFS

Ingredients
- 1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat drained
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
- 2 tablespoons plain bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 pkg. frozen puff pastry, thawed, according to package directions

In a medium bowl, combine crabmeat, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, chopped red pepper, green onion, bread crumbs lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and ground red pepper, beat until well blended. On a lightly floured surface, us a floured rolling pin to roll each pastry sheet into a 10” square. Cut pastry into 2” squares. Press a pastry square into each ungreased cup of a non-stick miniature muffin pan. Spoon 1 teaspoon crab mixture into center of each square. Pastries may be covered and chilled or frozen at this time. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 19-21 minutes or until golden brown. If puffs were chilled, bake 22-24 minutes. If puffs were frozen, bake 25-27 minutes. Serve warm.
