Spot's Birthday Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cup flour
• 2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 2 cup of shredded carrots
• 2 teaspoon of vanilla
• 2/3 cup honey
• 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the baking soda and flour in a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix on low speed until well blended, scraping sides to ensure thorough mixing. Pour into a greased rectangle cake pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until knife or toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Baking times will vary with pan size and varying oven temps.

For a Dog Friendly Icing:

Melt some peanut butter in a bowl on low heat in the microwave. pour over cooled cake and move pan around until the peanut butter completely covers the cake. Peanut butter will re-thicken as it cools and sits.

Sprinkle on some chopped up Purina Beggin' Strips dog treats for sprinkles.
