    lb lean ground beef chuck

  • 1/3

    cup finely chopped onion

  • 1

    tbsp chili powder

  • 1 1/2

    tsp ground cumin

  • 3/4

    tsp chopped fresh oregano

  • 3/4

    tsp garlic pepper seasoning

  • 3/4

    tsp salt

  • 6

    slices cheese

  • 6

    hamburger buns

Directions

preheat grill to medium direct heat. Meanwhile, crumble meat into medium bowl. Sprinkle with onion, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder and saly. Toss and shape into 6 patties 3/4 inches thick Place burgers on grill. grill cover 5 to 7 minutes per side or until done (160 degress) Top each buger with a slice of cheese and place on bun.
