Ingredients
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2/3 c. sugar, divided
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
- Vegetable oil for deep-frying

Step 1
1. Measuring carefully, place milk, eggs, butter, salt, flour, 2 T. sugar, 1½ tsp. cinnamon and yeast in bread machine pan in order specified by owner's manual. Program batter cycle setting if available; if not, program dough cycle setting. Press start. (The dough will be extremely soft, more like batter than dough.)
2. When cycle is complete, stir dough to deflate. Pour about 2" oil into large saucepan or Dutch oven. Heat oil to 400°F. Combine remaining sugar and 1½ tsp. cinnamon in shallow bowl.
3. Drop dough by level T. into hot oil. Fry until brown, 1½ to 2 min. on each side. Drain on paper towels. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm.
