Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Angel Hair Pasta
  • 4 ounce Mushroom ; sliced
  • 1 medium Onion ; chopped
  • 2 stalks Celery ; chopped
  • 6 tablespoon Butter
  • 6 tablespoon All purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoon Sherry
  • 3 cups Chicken ; shredded - about 3 breasts
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Make chicken stock with onion, celery and chicken. Shred chicken off the bone.

In sauce pan, melt butter, whisk in flour and pepper and cook for a minutes.

Break pasta into 2" pieces. Cook and drain.

While pasta is cooking, add 2 cups chicken broth to the sauce pan. Add cream and sherry. Stir until thick - boil one minute more. Add mushrooms and chicken. Put pasta in a buttered dish and pour chicken mixture over it. Top with cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
