Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves , minced
- 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes with added puree
- 1/2 cup bottled clam juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano, crumbled
- 3 dozen littelneck clams, scrubbed
- Minced fresh parsley
- Note: Recipe can be doubled . I used this recipe as an appetizer

Step 1
Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add crushed tomatoes, clam juice and oregano and bring to a boil. Add clams, cover and cook to clams open about 7 minutes. Discard any clams that have not open. Divide clams and sauce in bowls. Sprinkle with parsley
