Ingredients

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans french style green beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can baby lima beans
  • 1 16 oz. can tiny green peas
  • 1 4 oz. jar pimiento, chopped
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 large purple onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 6 or 7 cloves of garlic

Step 1

Drain all vegetables. Combine first 7 ingredients. Sprinkle mixture with sugar. Add oil and vinegar. Stir well and add salt and pepper to taste. Insert tooth picks into 6-7 cloves of garlic and put into salad. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Remove garlic cloves; stir and serve.
