Ingredients
- 8 Roma tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 5 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 baguette, 2-1/2 to 3 inches in diameter, cut into 20 1/4-inch slices
- 3 whole garlic cloves

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, chopped garlic, olive oil, vinegar, basil, salt and pepper. Stir until well-mixed. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 30 min.
Toast both sides of bread slices under a broiler. When slices are cool enough to handle, slice whole garlic cloves in half and rub onto both sides of toast slices. Top each slice of toast with bruschetta.
