Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 1/2" cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped (1 large apple)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tea. salt
  • 3/4 tea. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Step 1

Combine sweet potatoes, apples and chicken broth in a 5 qt. slow cooker. cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or until potatoes are tender; drain, discarding broth.

Add whipping cream and next 4 ingredients; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and blended. Stir in pecans.
