These ribs were absolutely the most tender pork I have ever eaten (and I am not a pork person...the rest of the family is :) and they were delicious. My husband said "Awesome"! I used 4 lbs. of ribs and I couldn't find Jack Daniels sauce, so I used Kraft Char-Grill and Kraft Hickory Smoke. I only used one cup of each of these instead of 1 1/2 and didn't BBQ grill them at the end because we were in the middle of a severe thunderstorm! BUT, I followed everything else, and broiled them for about 5 minutes at the end. Believe it or not, as soon as they were done (along with french green beans and texas toast with cheese), the storm knocked the power out....so, we had RIBs BY CANDLELIGHT! Everyone enjoyed, but even four pounds was not enough for the 6 of us...I will have to make more next time. Thanks for a recipe that allows me to actually ENJOY pork along with my family!
My two year old decided she wanted ribs for dinner. We happened across this recipe and we all loved it. Easy to prepair.....was able to enjoy some beer while ribs were in the oven. We made some smashed potatoes to go with it and used a little of the extra souce for gravy. Thanks!
This method of preparation was wonderful. The ribs were very moist and tender, and the sauce was just perfect. I, too, did not have the brand name sauce indicated in the recipe, so I made recipe# 57176 (Drew's Special Rib Sauce by BeachGirl). The ribs were outstanding. Absolutely delicious! We will be eating these again, for sure. Recipe Note: I used 6 pounds of boneless country style pork ribs, but only needed about 1 1/2 recipes of sauce. There is also plenty of sauce leftover!
