Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 8 c. water
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 5 potatoes, cubed
- 1 can tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
- 2 tsp salt; 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 dashes of thyme
- 2 dashes of oregano
- Dash of garlic powder

Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef with onion. Drain. Add water, spices, carrots, & celery. Bring to boil in 6 qt. kettle & simmer until vegetables are tender. Add cubed potatoes & simmer until done. Add tomatoes or sauce. Thicken with flour & water mixture.
