Ingredients

  • 1 chicken (about 3lbs) cut in pieces
  • 2 lbs chopped beef formed in meatballs
  • 2 large onion, sliced
  • 2 kernels garlic
  • 2-4 carrots cut up
  • 1 tbl chopped parsley
  • 1 tbl flour
  • salt, pepper, paprika to taste

Preparation

Step 1

in bottom of pan sauté onions in a small amount of shortening. Add garlic. Place chicken in pan & sprinkle with salt, pepper & good amount of paprika. Brown chicken. Add meatballs & again sprinkle with salt, pepper & paprika. Add carrots. Add water up to chicken. Cover & simmer about 2 hours or until chicken is soft. Remove chicken. If desired thicken gravy with flour & add parsley.
