  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup water, or more

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine the flour and sugar in a bowl, then whisk in the vinegar until smooth. The mixture will be quite thisk. Stir in the cumin seeds and butter. Whisk again. Then stir in enough water to make a smooth spreadable mixture (at least 1/2 cup). Let stand for 10 minutes.
With a pastry brush, brush the mixture onto a non-stick baking sheet. If batter is too thick, add a little more water. The crackers should be very thin.
Bake for 5 minutes, or until light brown. Cool. Store in covered container for a few days.
