Ingredients

  • 1 package- dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup- warm water
  • 2 Tbs- sugar
  • 1/2 tsp- salt
  • 2 cups- flour
  • 1 egg- beaten
  • salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Dissolve yeast in water
2. Add sugar and salt
3. Stir in flour
4. Knead dough on a floured board for 15 min
5. Pull off bits of dough and shape
6. Place on greased cookie sheet
7. Brush tops of pretzels with egg and salt
8. Bake for 10-15 min at 425 degrees
