SAVOURY CRESCENT CHICKEN ROLLS

Ingredients
- 125 g cream cheese, softened (1/2 package)
- 2 tablespoons Miracle Whip
- 2 cups cooked cubed chicken or turkey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red pepper
- 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup crushed seasoned croutons or Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and salad dressing until smooth.
Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, onion and red pepper; mix well.
Separate crescent rolls dough into 4 rectangles.
Firmly press perforations to seal.
Spoon approximately ½ cup chicken mixture onto centre of each rectangle, fold dough over and seal.
Place, seam side down, on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with crushed croutons or Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
Note: Recipe is easily doubled. In fact I always double it!
