Ingredients
- 1/2 lb butter
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and chocolate squares together in a heavy saucepan over medium heat; let cool for 15 minutes.
Beat eggs until thick and lemon coloured.
Add sugar gradually and beat until well blended.
Add vanilla.
On low speed of mixer, add cooled chocolate mixture just to blend.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Fold into batter.
By hand, fold in chocolate chips, marshmallows and nuts.
Pour mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.*
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes (mixture will appear slightly underdone).
*If using glass pan, bake at 325 F.
