- 1/2 cup dry apricots, loosely packed
- 1 3/4 cups orange juice
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Step 1
Place the apricots and 1/2 cup orange juice in a medium-size saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until apricots are very soft, about 20 minutes.
Pour apricot-orange mixture into a food processor or blender. Add remaining orange juice and nutmeg. Process until very smooth.
Apricot-Orange Sauce is a terrific topping for hot cereals, pancakes, spiced cakes, yogurt, or ice cream.
