  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • all purpose flour (for baked)
  • Panko breadcrumbs (for baked)
  • 1 egg (for baked)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Peel the sweet potatoes. Cut the potato into smaller chunks to speed up the cooking.
2. Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Potatoes are ready when you can insert a fork into the pieces easily.
3. Drain the potatoes and place it into a large mixing bowl.
4. Add butter, brown sugar, and milk.
5. Mix well, melting the butter and brown sugar as you stir.

6. Molded the mashed potatoes into 2.5-inch diameter patties.
7. Lightly covered each potato patty with some all purpose flour.
8. Dipped the patty into the egg.
9. Rolled patty onto breading, covering both sides evenly.

11. Baked the patties in the oven at 350 degree for about 15-20 minutes.
