Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup shortening, melted

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine milk, egg and shortening; stir into dry ingredients and mix well. Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a lightly greased hot griddle; turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes. Cook until second side is golden brown.
