Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp honey

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 F. Generously oil enough cups in muffin tins for 14 muffins or line the cups with paper baking cups.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, parsley, basil, and garlic.
In a small bowl, combine the milk, egg, butter, and honey. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring just enough to moisten. Batter will be lumpy.
Spoon into muffin tins.
Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Serve warm with Safflower Butter (recipe in collection).
