  • 2-1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
  • 6 T. chilled butter, divided
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 t. garlic powder, divided
  • 1/4 t. dried parsley
  • 1/8 t. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine biscuit mix and 4 tablespoons butter in a bowl; mix with a fork just until crumbly. Stir in milk, cheese and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder just until combined. Drop batter onto ungreased baking sheets by 1/4 cupfuls. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes, until golden. Meanwhile, melt remaining butter; combine butter with parsley, salt and remaining garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush hot biscuits generously with butter mixture. Serve warm.

Makes one dozen.
