Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 3/4 cup wheat germ
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Filling:
- 2 cups (16 ounces) cream cheese
- 1 cup yogurt
- 3 tbsp whole wheat flour
- 1 cup honey
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp ground lemon rind

Preparation
Step 1
Crust: Combine almonds, wheat germ, honey and melted butter; press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Filling: Cream together cream cheese, yogurt, whole wheat flour and honey until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time; then add almond extract and lemon rind. Fold into stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into crust. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour and 15 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned and firm.
